The evening begins with The Phantom of the Opera (1925), celebrating its 100th anniversary. See Lon Chaney’s legendary unmasking scene and Mary Philbin’s captivating performance, now underscored by The Czars’ lush, modern score featuring piano, violin, guitar, organ, flute, drums, and bass clarinet. Their music blends gothic grandeur with dynamic emotional depth, creating an immersive experience that will transport you straight into the shadows of the Paris Opera House.

At 9:30 PM, the night turns darker with Nosferatu (1922), the haunting, unauthorized adaptation of Dracula that defined the vampire genre. The Czars’ acclaimed soundtrack — praised for making this century-old classic “actually scary” — mixes acoustic and electric instruments for an eerily beautiful live performance that heightens every shadow and shiver.
